Mental Health

Each year approximately 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health condition and at least 1 in 6 employees experience common mental health conditions in the workplace. Research has shown that work is the biggest cause of stress which can stop people performing at their best.
Mental health conditions are often hidden due to the stigma and fear of discrimination. This in turn is costly to the employer in worker performance and time away from work. The HSE guidance on workplace First Aid needs assessment refers to mental health.

Ideal First Response offer a range of courses that can support staff and management as well youths in recognition, help and signposting to get the right type of mental health care. Please contact us to discuss dates, pricing and availability of these courses.
